Yannick Rousseeuw

-Automotive engineer

Industrial PhD, working for Volvo AB trucks as a integration engineer. The PhD work is dont a Lund Universtity at the department of energy science. The work focuses on optical diagnostics on high pressure direct injection diffusion hydrogen combustion.

Projects

Sibs is an optical technique for equivalence ratio incide the cylinder. so you use an optical sparkplug where you use a optical fiber to look at the light emited from the plasma. the spectrum of the light tells you about the local equivalence ratio at the sparkplug tip.

This engine is used for optical research. which allows us to look using a high speed camera inside the combustion chamber. this provides us with valuable data for validating simulations.
